The Hindu Community of Antelope Valley plans to build a center for worship and to celebrate religious events.
A piece of land has been acquired on the northwest corner of 30th Street West and Avenue M, adjacent to the Hull Park and across from Paraclete High School.
Building plans were approved by the City of Lancaster in December 2010.
Architectural drawings and design development are nearing completion.
A group of dedicated sponsors and leaders in the Hindu community have met regularly to raise funds, approve plans, and help in completion of the temple.
Support, both financial and technical, to help complete the Temple project is humbly solicited.

  Gurdwara

Sikhism is the most recent of the major religions in the world. It was founded by Guru Nanak Sahib, the first sikh guru in 1469. The basic articles of Sikhism were laid down by the Guru Nanak, and were consolidated by nine following Gurus over a period of two centuries. The articles includes: Unity of God; Equality; Faith; Love of God; Character Building; Naam Simran.
The Disciples of Sikhism or Saadh Sangat of Antelope Valley are building a Sikh Temple or Gurdwara located at 42207 30th Street West, Lancaster, CA, 93536. The sikh temples are not only hub of spiritual activity but are community centers too. Gurdwaras run free kitchens serving meals (Langar) to Sikhs and Non-Sikhs alike.
The construction of the Sikh Temple is now in its final stages. There are about 80 sikh families in Antelope Valley, who are helping to complete the Gurdwara. It is scheduled to open on April 21, 2012. Initially, there will only be Sunday services, but eventually there will be daily services. Your support and donations are welcome to help complete the Gurdwara.
Please contact Dr. Randhawa, who is the current president of the Gurdwara Sewadar Group, or Mr. Baldev(David) Gill at (661) 406-1832 or email:gillsell4u@gmail.com.
Support, both financial and technical, to help complete the Temple project is humbly solicited.
